Chinese Herbal Medicine

What is Chinese herbal medicine?
Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM), which has been practiced in China for over 3000 years, is one of the greatest herbal systems in the medicine world. However, such a long history doesn’t mean CHM is either backward or simplistic compared with modern biomedicine. CHM has continually developed to respond to any changing clinical conditions and, very recently, has been sustained and enhanced by research into every aspect of how it is used. CHM has had a great influence on the theory and practice of medicine in those countries
surrounded by China, and it still plays a very important role in healthcare in modern China, where it is provided in state hospitals alongside biomedicine. Recently, CHM has grown in popularity in the Western world. How to practice Chinese herbal medicine Just like practice acupuncture, CHM focuses on the individual with various disease conditions. Lincoln will produce an individual formula as the art of the herbalist, derived from classical formulae and then tailored to the individual patient’s needs. Chinese medicine is
based on a Daoist understanding of the human body, closely influenced by its environment as a finely balanced system connection. Chinese medicine is not only to cure but also to prevent illness; eventually, herbalists will focus on supporting harmony and rebalancing the body’s order. CHM enables herbalists to apply Chinese medicine to a deeper level, treat difficult cases more effectively and quickly, and treat some cases we wouldn’t have been able to treat at all with other methods. At least patients take their herbs; they have a daily herb treatment. Many of them said that the more their condition improves, the better the herbs taste! And because herbs can be cheaper than regular treatments, it will be more financially sustainable for so many people.
What can herbs do?
Chinese herbal formulas can clear or move stagnation, tonify deficiencies and clear factors of pathogenicity, nourish blood and the qi, and calm the shen. CHM treatment is extremely effective in acute conditions and equally effective in chronic and complex conditions like those we see in the West. In recent Western studies, there has been a lot of evidence. Available treatments for CHM include those for eczema, irritable bowel syndrome, endometriosis, infertility, and so on. The complexity of a formula could make herbal TCM remedies a good option for treating complex diseases that involve many targets and multiple biological processes. TCM is usually slow-acting and has long-lasting effects. So it’s suitable for chronic or preventive use against conditions such as inflammation and cardiovascular diseases.
In contrast to Western medicine, there isn’t a herbal formula for everyone because CHM is always tailored to the individual, from the body, the mind, and the spirit as well, in response to the whole person.
During the treatment, physical diagnoses are made on the basis of the color or shape of someone’s tongue, taking their pulse, looking at their skin, and so on, not only a medical
history. Lincoln is experienced and knowledgeable and provides a friendly environment for treatment.
